Behind the artwork:

We created a playlist of our most memorable tunes within Shaw history – the last tune ever played at our old location, tunes from memorable gigs,  favourite tunes from Bodytonic pals, that one tune that was rinsed on speakers that you wished you’d never hear again…

The exhibition comprises of 12 visual artists who choose one song from this playlist to base their piece.

The medium for the exhibition – disco balls.

Painted. Sprayed. Destroyed. Smashed on the floor, Pinned to the Wall. Whatever is felt from the chosen song. Muralists painted chosen walls around the Bernard Shaw and Eatyard – a classic graff jam like the good old times.
