A Socially Distant Live Performance of Art & Music

⚡️ Begins September 17th – October 2nd⚡️

📍 The Bernard Shaw Basement

About ☀️

The Bernard Shaw has long been seen as a creative hub for many, a place for creation, collaboration and more. ‘Music is the brandy of the damned’ will be a celebration of Shaw’s lengthy creative history with a 3 week immersive visual art + music exhibition with discussion panels on art in the performance industry.

For this we have created a playlist of our most memorable tunes within Shaw history – the last tune ever played at our old location, tunes from memorable gigs, favourite tunes from Bodytonic pals, that one tune that was rinsed on speakers that you wished you’d never hear again.. The exhibition will comprise of 12 visual artists who will choose one song from this playlist to base their work from. The medium for the exhibition – disco balls. Painted. Sprayed. Destroyed. Smashed on the floor, Pinned to the Wall. Whatever is felt from the chosen song. Muralists will paint chosen walls around the Bernard Shaw and Eatyard.
