Shakalak
John Cummins is a poet and performer for many years. He has collaborated both in recording and live improvisation with many musical acts over the years. This experience led him to develop a band of musicians to write and perform music around his words. This is at the heart of Shakalak.
Fin Divilly is a writer and musician with a wealth of live experience performing solo and with rock and roll, folk and electronic acts. As well as having his solo music and band, he plays bass and sings with Shakalak.
Johnny Jude is a songwriter, solo artist and hired gun. His distinctive and creative style with electric guitar playing has led him to play in Shakalak. He will also continue performing his solo music with his own band upon release of his first solo album ‘Vitamins & Wine’.
Sam Lynch is a fanatic and writer of all things Techno and electronic. He is the beat and synth engine room of Shakalak.
