Following on from the success of our weekend long celebration of International Women’s Day last year, this year we’ve decided to kick it up a notch with a weekend packed to the brim with events and activities.

GC is a platform focused on supporting female identifying and LGBTQ+ producers and DJ’s in the field of electronic music. Through sharing ideas, collaboration, safe space initiatives, carefully curated parties and events, as well as production and DJ workshops, GASH intends to shine a light on marginalised talent that often goes unnoticed or unrecognised throughout the island of Ireland.

Justyna Koss
Originally from Polish Gdansk, Dublin based DJ, Justyna aka Juko regularly plays in local clubs, bars & underground venues and has made guest appearances on the radio. Her cross-genre flexibility, deftly moving from groovy house to deep electronica & techno has led her to perform at some of Ireland’s biggest music festivals such as Life, Longitude and Electric Picnic to name but a few. Venus Dupree
Venus Dupree hails from Belfast Northern Ireland- she loves Disco, Techno and the weirdo beats in between. Making up one half of GIRL collective- she has firmly established herself as an advocate for female identified and Queer artists in the industry. GIRL had a successful 2017 with run of high profile warm up slots for Avalon Emerson, MOXIE, Peggy Gou, The Black Madonna and a debut set at AVA Festival. Aoife O’Neill
Aoife O’Neill is a Kerry bred, Cork based Dj and promoter with an eclectic style and taste. As well as running the monthly party ‘Out Of Space’ in Cork, she plays in bars, clubs and festivals across the country every weekend and is one of the newest additions to the DDR family with a monthly electronic music show of the same name. Jill Staxx (Staxx Lyrical)
Jill Staxx is best known for hosting Staxx Lyrical, her radio show dedicated to old-school, underground and independent hip-hop on Dublin Digital Radio. Her DJ sets span from all areas of hip-hop and R&B through to reggae, jungle, house and countless other genres.
